In 2004, Sada Jacobson was ranked #1 in Women's World Sabre rankings, the only American to ever reach the top position.
At the age of 17, Sada won a Team gold medal at the 2000 World Championships, and another Team Gold in 2005. At the 2004 and 2006 Worlds, Sada earned a pair of Team Silver medals, as well as an Individual Bronze in 2006.
Competing at the Olympic Games, Sada captured an Individual Silver and Team Bronze at the 2008 Games, and an Individual Bronze in 2004. She won the Individual Sabre Gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games.
The Yale University undergraduate was NCAA collegiate sabre champion in 2001 and 2002, and U.S. women's sabre champion in 2004 and 2006. In 2003, she was named U.S. Fencer of the Year.
