Ryan Braun was a six-time all-star, who finished his 14-year career with 352 home runs, the most by a Jewish player, with a batting average of .296 and 1,154 RBIs.

He was the National League's Rookie of the Year in 2007 and Most Valuable Player in 2011, when he hit .332 with a league-leading .597 slugging percentage.

The left fielder was a five-time winner of the Silver Slugger Award, given to the best offensive player at each position. With his 30 stolen bases and league-leading 41 home runs in 2012, Braun joined baseball's exclusive 40-30 club. He is in the top 10 in every Milwaukee Brewers career offensive statistic, including number 1 in home runs and number 2 in runs batted in.

At the University of Miami, Braun was named Baseball America's National Freshman of the Year in 2003 and was a two-time All-American.

Braun was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
