A member of the Hungarian National Soccer Team for many years, Gyula Mandl became its coach and led the team during its prime years into the 1950s. From 1956 to 1958, Mandl coached the Brazilian National Team, and from 1959 to 1963, he was coach of
the Israel National Team.
