Nicknamed 'Arik,' Ariel Ze'evi, the 45-year-old B'nai Brak native won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics as well as four European championships and a silver medal at the 2001 World Championships.

He also competed in the 1997 Maccabiah Games, two International Judo Federation Grand Slams (including a 2011 win) and two IJF Grand Prix.

Ariel (Arik) Ze'evi is a retired Israeli Judo Champion from B'nai Brak. Ze'evi is a force in judo, winning an Olympic bronze medal in 2004, four European heavyweight championships in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2012, and a 2005 silver medal winner in the heavyweight competition of the World Judo Championships.

Ze'evi won the silver medal in the open category in the 2001 World Championships.

He also won a bronze medal in judo in the U95 at the 1997 Maccabiah Games.

Ze'evi served as chairman of the 2022 Maccabiah Games.
